Finally I’ve found an application I’ve been missing for a long time. My iPhone friends used to tease me with their magical tricks, posting cool photos from their mobiles on wordpress blogs in just a few second. Now I can do that too.
For some time now, I’m commited to HAM radio & the topic of digital signal modulation – I’m sure you all know that. I keep bugging everyone and everywhere with this subject. Anyways, I’ve bought a new device. SkoTrak is an APRS tracker invented by Marcin Skowroński (SP7XIA). It’s yet another tracking device, that you connect a radio and GPS to, and then you can see your position on other APRS terminals or aprs.fi website. (more…)

In just a few hours, I’m packing my car and going to collect my two little princesses Zuzia & Nicole. I’m so excited. So to whom it may concern, from tomorrow, till next Wednesday, I’m unavailable for work/beer/work/parties/work/clubs… (did I mention work?) etc. It’s going to be a quality time just for them.

We’re back from Potęgowo. The kids were just amazing. They would play and run all day long without ever saying they’re tired. I had a great time taking them to sailing boats, playing sailing-related games, reading them bedtime stories and singing all day long. I’m sure they had fun too. I’ll post some photos soon. Stay tuned.

Tomorrow I’m going to the cub scouts camp to Potęgowo – a small town in northern Poland. Two packs are going – my pack, and the other one of Alina & Zuza. I’ll post some more cubscout-life posts later

So, in SP7PHP we’ve taken part in SPDX – a polish amateur radio contest. I still don’t know the results, but here is a video. Seems like fun, heh

As many of you know already, for the last couple of days I’ve been constructing an amateur radio station at my place. It’s callsign is known already – SQ7LRX, and thougth it’s capable of transmitting only on VHF & UHF for now, you can already hear it near Lodz.
As for the antenna, I’ve got a Diamond X50 yesterday and temporarely fixed it on the balcony. The performance isn’t really great but in a few days, I’ll try to fix it on a mast to the roof. That should give it some more dB.
I’ll keep you informed on the progress and post some photos of the installation.
So this is a third time I’m restarting my blog. Wish me luck. Soon I’ll publish some more useless information
